FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama's Master of Arts in Education (MAED) program is ranked as the fourth best value in the nation for 2015 - 2016 according to the Top 50 Best Value Residential Masters in Education as ranked by TopMastersinEducation.com.

The ranking was based on the cost for full time graduate students living on the campus of public four year colleges and universities and included the average cost of tuition, fees, books, room and board and transportation.

In addition to affordability, UNA graduate programs boast small classes taught by full time professors, multiple delivery formats, and excellent partnerships with community stakeholders. The MAED program is offered in twenty different certification disciplines that are accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and approved by the Alabama State Board of Education. In addition, the school counseling program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP).

UNA is the oldest four year university in Alabama, celebrating 185 years of preparing teachers and school leaders. More information is available at s6nt.36837a.com/education.
